haha well since then, hmm... lets see:
I voted on election day but didnt get a sticker cause they ran out :(
My roommates & I went to Ben & Jerry's to get free icecream but when we got there we found out it wasnt until later and you had to show them your sticker... lame. we bought one bowl and shared it instead. Then we drove to Starbucks and got free coffee... 3/4 of us dont even really drink coffee so we spent a lot of time filling up our coffees with creamers and sugar to try and make it taste better... it never really worked.
Obama won & history was made.
My best friend Jess came back for a short visit!!! It was SOOO good to see her!! we met at her favorite pizza place, Giordano's for dinner :) haha Jess wanted to take a menu back to CO with her so we tried to get one while we were there but out waiter was no fun & wouldn't let us take one... we still had a lot of fun tho!! it was great getting to laugh with Jess again!! it seems like when we are together thats abt all we do & i LOVE it!!
Kellyn came to visit me at school!!! we went to the recycling party haha where there was "bobbing for recycling" ; "pin the recycling on the recycling bin" & a recycling version of spoons lol afterwards we went to the Lew (our student center here at TIU) & played games it was fun!! then we went to Cheesecake Factory!!! it was delicious!! & finished the evening off by watching the movie "27 dresses" -it was a really fun weekend!
Thanksgiving Break!! it was so good to be home & my sister Chrissy came home too which is always WONDERFUL!!!! Thanksgiving Day we went to Peoria... had our annual Big Thanksgiving Day Race between Cece & Tim haha this year they ran up the huge Bartonville hill and Tim won again which was a surprise to us all (poor Tim) lol we sat and talked with the family for hours just talking and laughing as we always do :) & we also played Cranium which was a time fun... eventho im pretty sure my team didnt win :( anyways after our game was over it got to be a lil late so Chrissy and I decided to spend the night at Aunt Kathy's/Em's... we drank hot chocolate and talked for awhile then finally went to sleep :) it was a great day
My brother-in-law Jackson is a football coach for St Francis High School and this year his team made it to State!!! Chrissy and I drove to UofI to watch the game!! it was an exciting game & they won!!! :) woohoo 4 State Champs!!!!

oh yeah, I slipped and fell on the ice while walking back from the cafeteria.. definitely bruised my leg but it made for a funny story...
during finals week, I took a study break with my roommate to play in the snow!!! & we finished the night off by sledding!! haha we used our cafeteria trays as sleds & had a blast!!! :)
lost my cell phone :( had to use my mom's for awhile...
went to INDIA!!!! had the most amazing missions trip of my life!!!
my brother found my phone!! it was in our front yard in the snow & then rain for 3 weeks and he still got it to work!!!
3 days after I returned form India it was time to go back to school...
picked Hannah (suitemate) up at the airport on my way to school- found out that she had transferred out & was just coming to pack up all her stuff :(
drove with roommates to the airport to drop Hannah off... had to say goodbye... it was sad.. i miss her.
got a new suitemate! Amanda- she is a sweet girl & its been fun getting to know her :)
weekly team meeting for Zambia started!!!! cant believe I am going to Africa in 1 month!!!! I am SOOOO super excited!!! I have always wanted to go to Africa!! especially Zambia!!!
Cardinals lost in the Super Bowl... that made me sad but the Office was on right after which cheered me up :)
... and now here we are in February of 2009!! WOW time sure has gone by fast!
and now i need to go do my homework...
