ONE WEEK from today I leave for college!!! TIU here I come!! its coming up crazy fast!!! i am SUPER excited but also a lil nervous- itll be good tho. today I spent most of the day packing for school & man do I have a lot of crap!! you dont really realize how much you have until you have to pack it all... my whole life I have lived in the same house so I have never had to pack up my stuff before- its a lot of work but its also kind of fun. I got rid of some clothes, books, shoes, stuffed animals from when i was younger... getting a fresh new start!! without al the unecessary stuff.. Im excited to have my own place away from home & finally get to experience the "real" college experience... the one with dorm life, a roommate, football games, bad cafeteria food, late night food runs, meeting LOTS of new people & making friends... all of it!!! just one week away!! :)
but along with all the excitement there is the saddness of saying goodbye. basically all of this next week will be spent packing & spending time with my friends & family saying goodbye.
its bittersweet to say the least.
