the ugly duckling

Right outside my house there is a duck who has decided to make our front yard her new home & has placed her nest there with 10 little duck eggs inside!!

I wonder what it would be like to be inside of an egg..

would it be cozy? warm? comfortable? annoying? scrunched? claustrophobic-y? lonely? fun? relaxing? stressful? smelly? cold? itchy? boring? exciting?

I mean do you think maybe the little duckling sometime think to themselves, "man, i wish i could go back to being in my egg" or are they more like, "whew!! im SO glad to be out of that thing!!"
